These wise words for the month of February 2002

Feeling cheekishly lazy today, your wise words are song lyrics. Not just one, but two songs. One is a special dedication to Toronto, and the other is dedicated to Valentine's Day (I love being a cynic). Neither one, however, is dedicated to a dog named Snuggles.

Money is the fuel that drives his car
If you've not got cash you won't get far
Money is a measure of who you are
If you've not got money you won't get far

Love is the fuel that drives my car
On four star love I might get far
Love is the seed that drives me on
But it doesn't take long before love goes wrong

Feed me the fuel that drives his car
We've lost the map
We've gone too far
Fear I don't know who you are
Who's got my drugs, who's got my car
A vehicle to me is not enough love
If you've not got love then fear's your stop
Lost in the fuel that drives my car
I'm lost in love
I've gone too far

With a winning smile
You can fool the world
With a bit of fame
You'll soon get laid

Power is the source we're looking for
Life only sucks when you're two feet tall
Greed is the source of a restless need
And a restless need is what got me
I've gone too far!

~James

Without you my life has become a hangover without end. A movie made for TV: bad dialogue, bad acting, no interest. Too long with no story and no sex. Is it a kind of weakness to miss someone so much? To wish the day would go away -- just like you did yesterday -- and I can't think of a way to get through this pain.To be happy again, to make it all right, and I know it must be bad 'cos sitting here right now, all I know is I can't even think. I can't even think of anything clever to say. So I say: why pretend any longer? 'Cos I need you here with me. It's obvious that I miss you so much, so please say you're gonna stay.

The night is getting darker now, and there's nothing on TV, but I'll sit tight 'til morning light. Yeah, I'll wait until the day. Until the day that you say you're gonna stay.
